I’ve been wearing almost exclusively white and blue dress shirts for quite some time. But I decided to give this striped one a chance this time.
Yeah, I know. Revolutionary. Such bravado, such extravagance; truly an outfit worthy of upcoming Pitti Uomo, because there’s a pattern on the shirt.
Well, I tend to look at the little things, ok?
The shirt is from Poszetka.com, and I like it a lot. First of all, it has sleeves long enough for my disproportionately long arms. Second, I really like the details. Lovely spread collar, rounded cuff with the button moved towards the forearm. Oh, and the buttons too – thin mother-of-pearl ones.
Another thing that’s new is the tie. You might have seen it on my instagram, also by Poszetka, made from fantastic soft Loro Piana fabric. Not the typical colour for the tie, but it works so nice with the rest of the stuff I’m wearing.
And I’m wearing flannels, appropriately enough for this rather warm January.
In the background, Nowa Huta. It’s a district of Kraków that’s been becoming a little more lively lately, and that I moved to after getting a job at a hospital here. I must say there are parts of it I really like, so you might expect to see some more of it in the future photoshoots.
