A photoshoot from my visit in Poznań.

When I went to Poznań to pick up my Krupa&Rzeszutko bespoke jacket, I had some free time, some of which I spent on a quick photoshoot. I wanted to take some photos with the new jacket, and test it out with some of the clothes I have. Turns out this outfit is something I’ve found myself wearing over and over in recent weeks.

A merino roll-neck jumper in dark grey works nice against the colour of the jacket, provides contrast. I was surprised how nice the trousers fit this ensemble. A small houndstooth pattern on them makes them look mid-grey from distance, and only reveals itself up close, and even then, due to the softness of the fabric, is somewhat blurred. The trousers haven’t seen very much use until now. It’s amazing how finding a good pairing for a piece of clothing can make it go from almost unused to worn very often.

The outfit is a cozy collection of soft, warm textures, with no shine – and it seems perfect for autumn and winter.

It may be argued that loafers are not perfect shoes for this kind of weather. But as long as it’s not too cold and wet, I don’t mind wearing them – and the beautiful shade of the suede on them fits right in with the rest of the stuff. However, I sometimes swap them for brown suede chukkas, when the weather is not as forgiving.
