Benevento is a company making trousers. They have over 20 years of experience in this area, and they utilize it well: they make very good, both quality- and design-wise, product, mostly using British fabrics.

While ordering, you can ask for custom changes – both when it comes to measurements, and details. Side tabs, button fly, pleats. Two basic fit types (regular and slim), variety of sizes (both waist and inseam), and possibility of custom modifications makes it possible to get a very well-fitting pair of trousers for various body types.

We shouldn’t worry that the summer is over, for the flannel season is upon us. Benevento has fantastic Vitale Barberis Canonico 340g flannels, in light and mid-gray, light brown and navy. Racing green is no longer available, as it sold almost immediately – no wonder, it’s a great fabric.

Other than trousers, Benevento makes waistcoats – like this one, mid-gray, also made of VBC flannel.

Multirenowacja offers the highest quality cosmetics for taking care and renovating shoes, accessories and leather and textile upholstery. They sell, among others, products by Saphir and Tarrago, and the sheer quantity of stuff they have may make you dizzy.

Among things useful particularly during autumn and winter – Nano Protector spray. It’s a universal formula to protect various kinds of textiles and leather from water. I use it especially on my suede shoes. Nano Protector is one of the reasons I think suede shoes are one of the most hassle-free things you can own.

The shop also sells various different shoelaces. If you think of adding a little colour to your outfit, this might be an option. I prefer my laces in a colour similar to the leather – but I prefer flat waxed shoelaces, and I almost invariably buy them from Multirenowacja. – a brand that selles beautiful and high-quality accessories. Their products are usually in limited supply, and are made in Poland by hand using mostly Italian and British fabrics.

They don’t limit themselves just to ties and pocket squares, however. This time: beanies and flat caps.

Hand-knitted beanies are a simple and effective way to keep your noggin warm. They’ll look good with both modern tailored clothes and nice casual things.

Flat caps – mostly made of W. Bill tweed, but there’s also one beautiful model made of Scabal fabric – are a little more retro, but super stylish. At the same time, I find them easier to wear than classic brimmed hats. So yeah, worth a mention. is perhaps the biggest Polish multibrand store with classic men’s footwear. A wide selection of models and brands in various prices should satisfy most enthusiasts of elegant shoes.

This time, boots. Berwick 321 boots are made of really nice pebble-grain leather in warm brown, and feature a Dainite sole. They’ll look great with both flannels and jeans.

And for more adventurous monk boots by Carlos Santos, made on a fantastically dynamic last. They are most definitely noteworthy. Also available in browns, and on a leather sole.
